Alive and Kicking

All money donated through this appeal will help Alive & Kicking make footballs for children, create employment for adults, and help raise awareness of preventable diseases.  £15 donated could pay for a ball to be donated to a school or children’s program in Africa.

An Alive & Kicking Story

St Stephen’s Preparatory School in the Dagoretti Corner area of Nairobi, Kenya, caters for 130 children aged two to ten. The head teacher is an incredibly energetic and inspirational woman named Grace. She manages the school in the face of serious challenges. Many of the children are avid football fans but lack the opportunity to play with an adequate ball. The children at St Stephens Preparatory School were recipients of durable, locally made footballs thanks to Alive & Kicking’s ‘Balls For Africa’ campaign and as you can see below, they were over the moon!
